“Welcome to Leeds” – enhancing the visitor experience

In 1989 there were just 7 hotels in Leeds city centre. Thirty years later, there are four times that number and thousands more guests.

Training for hotel staff includes briefings about the immediate surroundings – what’s to be seen, how to find your way around, how the area has changed. With more local knowledge, the staff can more confidently advise guests as well as feeling more a part of the city where they work.
